Zingiber zerumbet (L.) Sm.
Herb, 1-1.30 m tall, of the dense or secondary formations of Southeast Asia. Edible rhizome used
in cooking or candied in vinegar. It would also have tonic and purifying properties. Macerated in rice alcohol, it gives a lotion taken in case of faintness and dizzinesses with an inclination to cardiac arrest. It would be tonic for the delivered women.

ឈ្មោះប្រទាលមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ១-១,៣០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃធំ ឬព្រៃល្បោះនៃអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ មើមប្រើជាគ្រឿង សម្លឬគ្រឿងជ្រក់ជាដើមបាន ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ មើមជាថ្នាំលើកកម្លាំង និងសំអាតឈាម ។ គេអាចត្រាំមើមក្នុងសា្រសំរាប់ផឹកព្យាបាលដំណើររសាប់រសល់ វិលមុខ ចង់ខ្យល់គរ ។ ជាថ្នាំលើកកម្លាំងនារីទើបសម្រ ាលកូន ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Herbe, haut de 1-1,30 m, des formations denses ou secondaires de l’Asie du Sud-Est. Rhizome comestible utilisé en cuisine ou confit dans du vinaigre. Il aurait aussi des propriétés toniques et dépuratives. On le laisse macérer dans l’alcool de riz, la lotion obtenue est absorbée dans le cas de malaises, de vertiges avec tendance à la syncope. Elle serait tonifiante pour les accouchées.
