Trichosanthes tricuspidata Lour.
Herbaceous liana, crawling along the footpaths, 5-6 m long, in tropical Asia and Australia. The young leaves are edible. The fruits are very toxic. In traditional medicine, the stalk crushed in water gives a drink renowned as effective against the smallpox, if it is absorbed with a bit of python’s bile.

ឈ្មោះវល្លិឆ្មារម្យ៉ាងវារលើដី តាមមាត់ផ្លូវ, ប្រវែង៥-៦ម ដុះក្នុងទ្វីបអាស៊ី និងអូស្ត្រាលីផ្នែកក្ដៅ ។ ស្លឹកខ្ចីៗ បរិភោគជា បន្លែបាន ។ ផ្លែមានជាតិពុលខ្លាំង ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណគេបុកដើមជាមួយទឹក លាយនិងទឹកប្រមាត់ពស់ថ្លាន់បន្ដិច ហើយផឹក ដើម្បីរម្ងាប់រោគអុតធំ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Liane herbacée, rampante, le long des chemins, longue de 5-6 m. de l’Asie et de l’Australie tropicales. Les jeunes feuilles sont comestibles. Les fruits sont très toxiques. En pharmacopée, la tige pilée dans l’eau donne une boisson réputée efficace, si elle est absorbée avec un peu de bile de python, contre la variole.
