Toona sureni (Blume) Merr.
Tree, 20-40 m tall, of the dense coastal formations of Southeast Asia. The wood has a smell of sandalwood, that protects it from the attack of insects. It is much in demand for cabinetwork and construction. The infusion of the flowers would be antispasmodic. The decoctions of the barks and roots would be febrifuge and antidysenteric.
ឆាំឆា-ខ្លឹមចន្ទន៍
ព្រឹក្សម្យ៉ាងកំពស់ ២០-៤០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃធំមាត់សមុទ្រ នៃអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ឈើមានក្លិនក្រអូបដូចខ្លឹមចន្ទន៍ ធ្វើ អោយសត្វល្អិតរត់ឆ្ងាយ ។ ឈើមានតម្លៃណាស់ សម្រាប់ធ្វើជា តុ ទូ និងគ្រឿងផ្ទះ ។ គេស្ងោរសំបក និង ឬសផឹកជាថ្នាំ រម្ងាប់រោគគ្រុន និង រាគ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbre, haut de 20-40 m, des formations denses littorales du Sud-Est Asiatique. Le bois dégage une odeur de santal, ce qui le préserve de l’attaque des insectes. Il est très recherché pour l’ébénisterie et la construction. L’infusion des fleurs serait antispasmodique. Les décoctions des écorces et des racines seraient fébrifuges et antidysentériques.
