Stephania rotunba Lour.
Herbaceous liana with a 5-15 m long stalk, growing on calcareous cliffs of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, plentiful especially in Northern Vietnam. The big tubers, more or less round, fawn coloured, 1 to 20 kg heavy, are in demand for traditional medicine: they would have tonic and antispasmodic virtues in particular on the digestive tract.

ឈ្មោះវល្លិឆ្មារម្យ៉ាងប្រវែង ៥-១៥ម ដុះលើដំបូកមានជាតិកំបោរនៅប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ឡាវ និងវៀតណាម ច្រើនមាន ក្នុងវៀតណាមខាងជើង ។ មើមមានទំហំធំៗ រាងមូលពណ៌ត្នោត អាចមានទំងន់ដល់២០គីឡូក្រាម ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ មើមនេះជាថ្នាំលើកកំលាំង និងសម្រាប់ព្យាបាល ជម្ងឺកន្ត្រាក់ញាក់សាច់ដុំ ជាពិសេសសាច់ដុ ំនៃគ្រឿងរំលាយអាហារ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Liane herbacée à tige longue de 5-15 m, croissant sur des falaises calcaires du Cambodge, du Laos et du Viêt-nam, abondante surtout dans le Nord-Viêt-nam. Les gros tubercules plus ou moins arrondis de couleur fauve pesant de 1 à 20 kg sont recherchés en pharmacopée comme doués de pouvoir tonique et antispasmodique en particulier sur le tube digestif.
