Spondias cytherea Sonn.
Tree, 10-15 m tall, originating from the Pacific islands and cultivated in tropical regions. Young leaves and fruits are edible. The fruit, jew’s plum, light yellow when mature are sold on markets. The bark, astringent, is used against diarrhoea.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ១០-១៥ម គេនាំពីកោះនៃសមុទ្រប៉ាស៊ីហ្វិក មកដាំគ្រប់ប្រទេសក្ដៅសកលលោក ។ ស្លឹកខ្ចីៗ និងផ្លែបរិភោគបាន ។ ផ្លែម្កាក់ ពណ៌លឿងភា្លវ ពេលទុំ មានលក់នៅក្នុងផ្សារ ។ សំបកមានជាតិចត់ ជាថ្នាំព្យាបាលជំងឺរាគ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbre, haut de 10-15 m, originaire des îles du Pacifique et cultivé en régions tropicales. Jeunes feuilles et fruits comestibles. Le fruit ou pomme cythère, jaune pâle à maturité est en vente sur les marchés. L’écorce, astringente, est utilisée contre la diarrhée.
