Sechium edule (Jacq.) Sw.
Liana, originating from Central America, cultivated at a high altitude in Southeast Asia. The fruits imported from the nearby countries are sold on markets of Cambodia. They are used as vegetables in various dishes, in particular in soups.

ឈ្មោះវល្លិមួយប្រភេទ នាំពីអាមេរិកផ្នែកកណ្ដាល មកដាំលើភ្នំជាដំណាំនៅអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ផ្លែស៊ូស៊ូមានលក់ក្នុងផ្សារប្រទេសខ្មែរ គេប្រើជាបន្លែធ្វើសម្ល ឬឆា ។

Liane, originaire de l’Amérique centrale, cultivée en altitude en Asie du Sud-Est. Les fruits importés des pays voisins se trouvent en vente sur les marchés du Cambodge. On les utilise en légumes dans des plats variés, en particulier en soupe.
