Polygonum odoratum Lour.
Annual herb, with running stalk at bottom and radicante*** at knots. Species endemic of Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, cultivated in the nearby countries. Plant very appreciated as a condiment especially with the boiled brooded duck eggs, which according to the Chinese of Cambodia, would be aphrodisiac.

តិណជាតិប្រចាំឆ្នាំមួយប្រភេទស្ទើរវារ មានដុះឬសតូចៗ តាមថ្នាំង ។ ដើមនេះ កើតក្នុងប្រទេសខ្មែរ លាវ និង វៀតណាម ស្រុកដទៃទៀតនាំទៅដាំ ។ ជាដើមសំរាប់ធ្វើគ្រឿងទេស គេនិយមបរិភោគជាមួយពងទាកូន ។ ពួកចិនៗ នៅ ប្រទេសកម្ពុជា តែងនិយាយថា ពងទាកូនស្ងោរជាថ្នាំប៉ូវ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Herbe annuelle, à tige traçante à la base et radicante aux nœuds. Espèce endémique du Cambodge, du Laos, et du Viêt-nam, cultivée dans les autres pays voisins. Plante condimentaire, très appréciée surtout pour accompagner les œufs de cane couvés cuits à l’eau, qui, au dire des Chinois du Cambodge. seraient aphrodisiaques.
