Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.
Shrub, 2-4 m tall, of the Moluccas islands, cultivated almost everywhere in Southeast Asia, and reduced to a small size by repeated cuts: in the cultivated form, the plant does not exceed 50 cms in height. The leaves. thornless and with a musky smell, are in demand, either to scent the rice or to color in green some cakes. They are found on markets and in Asian grocer’s shops of Europe and American.

ឈ្មោះចុល្លព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ ពួករំចេក កំពស់ ២-៤ម ដុះលើកោះ Moluques គេនាំមកដាំក្នុងប្រទេសជាច្រើននៃអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ក្នុងភាពជាដំណាំ គេកាត់ស្លឹកតើយជារឿយៗ ម្លោះហើយ ដើមនេះមិនដែលមានកម្ពស់លើស ៥០ ស.ម ឡើយ ។ ស្លឹកគ្មានបន្លាក្លិនក្រអូបប្រហើរ គេប្រើសម្រាប់លាយ បាយឱ្យក្រអូប ឬសម្ រាប់ដាក់នំអោយមានពណ៌បៃតងល្អ ។ គេអាចឃើញស្លឹកតើយ មានលក់ក្នុងហាងអាស៊ីនៃទ្វីបអឺរ៉ុប និងអាមេរិក ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbuste, haut de 2-4 m, des îles Moluques, cultivé un peu partout en Asie du Sud-Est, et réduit à une petite taille par coupes répétées ; à l’état de culture, la plante ne dépasse guère une hauteur de 50 cm. Les feuilles sans épines et à odeur musquée, sont recherchées, soit pour parfumer le riz, soit pour colorer en vert certaines pâtisseries. On en trouve sur les marchés et dans des épiceries Asiatiques d’Europe et d’Amérique.
