Neptunia oleracea Lour.
Aquatic herb, of stagnant waters, with raised horizontal and aerial stalk. The floating part is provided with spongy white ballcocks, placed in muff around every inter-node. At the level of every node, bundles of roots arise towards the water, and twigs with leaves and floral peduncles towards the air. Tropical species of the two hemispheres. Young stalks and young leaves eaten as vegetables. Often cultivated, because of the edible use of these organs.

ឈ្មោះ តិណជាតិដុះក្នុងទឹកមួយប្រភេទ ដើមមានភាពផ្ដេក តែចុងដុះឡើងលើផុតទឹក ។ ដើមដែលអណ្តែតលើទឹក មានកោសិកាភ្លាយទៅជាវត្ថុម្យ៉ាងស្ពោត រាងដូចកំសួល រុំជុំវិញចន្លោះថ្នាំងនៃដើម ។ ឬសក្នុងទឹក ដុះចេញពីថ្នាំងនីមួយៗ ឯមែក និងស្លឹកព្រមទាំងផ្កា ដុះផុតទឹកក៏ចេញពីថ្នាំងដដែលនេះដែរ ។ ដើមកញ្ឆែតមានដុះនៅគ្រប់ប្រទេសក្ដៅសកលលោក មែក ស្លឹក ខ្ចីៗគេប្រើធ្វើអន្លក់ ។ ស្រុកខ្លះដាំកញ្ឆែតជាច្រើនសម្រាប់បរិភោគជាអាហារ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Herbe aquatique, des eaux stagnantes, à tige horizontale dressée et aérienne. La partie flottante est munie de flotteurs spongieux, blancs, placés en manchon autour de chaque entre-nœud. Au niveau de chaque nœud, naissent du côté de l’eau des faisceaux de racines, et du côté aérien, des rameaux feuillés et pédoncules floraux. Espèce tropicale des deux hémisphères. Jeunes tiges et jeunes feuilles consommées en légumes. Souvent. cultivée, en raison de l’usage alimentaire de ces organes.
