Luffa acutangula (L.) Roxb.
Liana, of Indian origin, cultivated for its edible fruits, in the form of bludgeon with 10 pointed coasts. These enter numerous Khmer dishes. In traditional medicine, the crushed leaves are applied, in poultice, to hasten the cure of some hurt. The fruits would be diuretic.

ឈ្មោះវល្លិដំណាំឡើងទ្រើង កំណើតនៅក្នុងប្រទេសឥណ្ឌា គេដាំយកផ្លែជាអាហារ ផ្លែរាងដូចមោង មាន១០ជ្រុង ស្រួចៗ គេប្រើផ្លែ ធ្វើម្ហូបបានច្រើនមុខ ។ ក្នុងក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ គេបុកស្លឹកបំពោកលើមុខរបួសអោយឆាប់ជា ។ ផ្លែជាថ្នាំធ្វើអោយនោមច្រើន ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Liane, d’origine indienne, cultivée pour ses fruits comestibles, en forme de massue à 10 côtes aiguës. Ceux-ci entrent dans de nombreuses préparations culinaires khmères. En pharmacopée, les feuilles pilées sont appliquées, en cataplasme, pour hâter la guérison de certains lésions. Les fruits seraient diurétiques.
