Iris pallida Lour.
Herb, 20-50 cm tall, with large cordiform leaves, originating from temperate regions of the North. introduced in Asia as decorative. According to khmer beliefs, the plant would protect those who cultivate it against burglars and hostile people by giving them dizzinesses, thus the name given to this species.

ភាសាបារាំង
Herbe, haute de 20-50 cm, aux grandes feuilles cordiformes, originaire des régions tempérées du Nord. introduite en Asie comme ornementale. Selon les croyances khmères, la plante protégerait ceux qui la cultivent des cambrioleurs et des gens malveillants en leur donnant des vertiges, d’où le nom donné à cette espèce.
