Hymenodictyon orixense (Roxb.) Mabb.
Tree, 8-15 m tall, of the secondary formations of plain of tropical Asia. Light wood, used to make boxes and armatures of blackboards. Pulverized, in powder, the wood is used in traditional Cambodian medicine to treat the sores. The bark is believed to be febrifuge.

ព្រឹក្សម្យ៉ាង កំពស់ ៨-១៥ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះលើដីទំនាប នៃអាស៊ីផ្នែកក្ដៅ ។ ឈើស្រាលប្រើសម្រាប់ធ្វើប្រអប់ ហិប និងធ្វើគ្រោងក្ដារខៀន សិស្សរៀន។ គ្រូថ្នាំខ្មែរបុរាណតែងកិនឈើឱ្យល្អិត ដូចម្សៅប្រើព្យាបាលជម្ងឺស្រែង។ សំបកជាថ្នាំគ្រុន។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbre, haut de 8-15 m des formations secondaires de plaine de l’Asie tropicale. Bois léger, utilisé pour faire des caisses et des armatures de tableaux d’écolier. Pulvérisé, en poudre, le bois s’utilise, en pharmacopée cambodgienne, pour soigner les dartres. L’écorce est réputée fébrifuge.
