Helianthus annuus L.
Annual herb with large yellow flowers, originating from North America, cultivated almost everywhere around the world. In Cambodia, the cultivation of the species is done in a decorative purpose. The dried flowers are used to make a infusion prescribed to the women during their pregnancy. In certain other countries, the seeds are of use to the manufacture of edible oil.

ឈូករ័ត្ន ជាស្មៅធំប្រចាំឆ្នាំ មានផ្កាលឿងធំៗ ដើមកំណើតនៅទ្វីបអាមេរិកខាងជើង គេនាំមកដាំគ្រប់សកលលោក ។ នៅប្រទេសខ្មែរ គេដាំឈូករ័ត្នជាលំអ ។ ផ្កាក្រៀម អាចឆុងផឹក ជាពិសេសសម្រាប់នារីមានគភ៌ ដើម្បីឱ្យមានសុខភាពល្អ ។ នៅប្រទេសខ្លះគ្រាប់ឈូករ័ត្ន សម្រាប់ធ្វើប្រេងជាអាហារ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Herbe annuelle à grande fleurs jaunes, originaire de l’Amérique du Nord, cultivée un peu partout dans le monde entier. Au Cambodge, la culture de l’espèce se fait dans un but ornemental. Les fleurs séchées servent à préparer une tisane recommandée aux femmes pendant leur grossesse pour bien se porter. Dans certains autres pays, les graines servent à la fabrication de l’huile alimentaire.
