Diospyros hasseltii Zoll.
Tree, 15-30 m tall, of dense or secondary forests of Southeast Asia. Wood transforming irregularly into ebony, very appreciated to make knickknacks. The juice of the fruit is used as varnish.

ទន្លាប់ព្រៃ ជាព្រឹក្សកំពស់ ១៥-៣០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃធំនិងព្រៃស្រោង នៅអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ឈើអាចក្លាយបន្តិចម្តងៗ ជា ឈើខ្មៅស្រិលដោយអនិយ័ត មានតម្លៃណាស់ សម្រាប់ប្រើការយ៉ាងច្រើន ជាពិសេសធ្វើវត្ថុតាំងជាលំអ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbre, haut de 15-30 m, des forêts denses ou secondaires du Sud-Est Asiatique. Bois se transformant irrégulièrement en ébène, très apprécié pour faire des bibelots. Le jus du fruit sert comme vernis.
