Rain tree has its origin in tropical America, cultivated in Asia and Africa, as ornamental and as shade-tree. In time of shortage, the young leaves had been eaten in salads. The fruit is edible.

អំពិលបារាំង ជារុក្ខជាតិមានដើមកំណើតក្នុងស្រុកអាមេរិកក្ដៅ។ គេដាំនៅស្រុកអាហ្វ្រិក និងអាស៊ីជាលំអតាមផ្លូវ ឬ សំរាប់ម្លប់ជ្រកជិតផ្ទះ។ ស្លឹកខ្ចីៗ អាចធ្វើអន្លក់ពេលទុរិ្ភក្ស។ ផ្លែក៏បរិភោគបានដែរ ។
ភាសាបារាំង
Arbre originaire de l’Amérique tropicale, cultivé en Asie et en Afrique comme plante d’ombrage, le long des avenues ou près des agglomérations. Jeunes feuilles consommées crues comme légumes en temps de disette. Fruits comestibles.
