Vitex pinnata L.
Tree, 15-25 m tall, of the clear formations of the Indochinese and Malay Peninsula, India and Sri Lanka. The wood is used to make tools handles. The bark is used to make a tonic drink. The seeds would be vermifuge. The decoction of leaves and barks has the reputation to activate the growth of hairs and beard.

Arbre, haut de 15-25 m, des formations claires de la péninsule indochinoise, malaise, de l’Inde et de Sri Lanka. Le bois sert à fabriquer des manches d’outils. L’écorce sert à préparer une boisson tonifiante. Les graines seraient vermifuges. La décoction des feuilles et des écorces a la réputation d’activer les pousses des cheveux et de la barbe.
