TRIANTHEMA (Aizoaceae)
Trianthema portulacastrum L.
Fat herb, 0.20-0.60 m tall, crawling along footpaths and in the dried out paddy fields of the tropical regions of Asia and Oceania. At normal time, this herb is used to feed pigs ; in times of scarcity, it can be eaten by the human beings. In traditional medicine, the plant, dried out and reduced to powder, is part of a remedy againt the throat troubles.
ជង្គង់ប្រើស (ថ្នាំ-ក)
ឈ្មោះតិណជាតិម្យ៉ាងមានស ាច់ច្រើន កំពស់០,២០-០,៦០ម, វារលើដីតាមមាត់ផ្លូវ និងក្នុងស្រែរដូវប្រាំង នៃទ្វីបអាស៊ី និងអូសេអានីក្ដៅ ។ ពេលធម្មតា គេប្រើស្មៅនេះសំរាប់លាយបាយជ្រូក, ក្នុងពេលទុរ្ភិក្ស មនុស្សក៏បរិភោគស្មៅនេះដែរ ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ គេហាលដើមអោយស្ងួតហើយបុកជាម្សៅ ផ្សំធ្វើថ្នាំរម្ងាប់រោគឈឺបំពងក ។

Herbe grasse. haute de 0,20-0,60 m, rampante le long des chemins et dans les rizières sèches, des régions tropicales d’Asie et d’Océanie. En temps normal, cette herbe sert de nourriture aux porcs ; en temps de disette, elle peut être consommée par les humains. En pharmacopée, la plante, desséchée et réduite en poudre, entre dans la préparation d’un remède contre les maux de gorge.
