TERMINALIA (Combretaceae)
Terminalia triptera Stapf
Tree with whitish bark, 10-30 m tall, of the dense formations of Hainan (China), the Indochinese and Malay Peninsula. Wood used in the construction as skeletons. Bark may replace areca nut in betel quid. In traditional medicine, it is used in infusion or in decoction to treat dysentery.

ព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទសំបកស ប្រផេះ កំពស់១០-៣០ម ដុះ ក្នុងព្រៃក្រាស់ នៃប្រទេសចិន(ហៃណាំ), ឧបទ្វីបឥណ្ឌូចិន និងជ្វា ។ ឈើគេប្រើសម្រាប់ធ្វើជាគ្រឿងដំបូលផ្ទះ ។ សំបកអាចស៊ីជំនួសស្លាបាន ។ គ្រូថ្នាំបុរាណតែងឆុង ឬស្ងោរសំបក ព្រះភ្នៅ ធ្វើថ្នាំរម្ងាប់រោគមួល ។

Arbre à écorce blanchâtre, haut de 10-30 m des formations denses de Hainan (Chine), de la péninsule indochinoise et malaise. Bois utilisé dans la construction comme charpentes. Ecorce pouvant remplacer la noix d’arec dans la chique du bétel. En pharmacopée traditionnelle, elle est employée, en infusion ou en décoction pour combattre la dysenterie.
