Syzygium tinctorium (Gagnep.) Merr. & L.M. Perry
Tree, 20-25 m tall, of the dense and secondary forests of Cambodia, Laos and Southern Vietnam. Wood, graded 3rd category, rather hard, used in construction for the small inside works. Edible fruits. Colouring bark used to dye the fabrics in yellowish brown.

ថ្នាំជ្រលក់សំពត់ឱ្យពណ៌លឿងក្រមៅ ។ ផ្លែទុំបរិភោគបាន ។ ឈើល្អណាស់ “ ប្រណិតលេខ៣ ” សំរាប់សង់ផ្ទះ និងគ្រឿងក្នុងផ្ទះ ។

Arbre, haut de 20-25 m, des forêts denses et secondaires du Cambodge, du Laos et du Sud Viêt-nam. Bois, classé 3è catégorie, assez dur employé en construction pour de petits travaux d’intérieur. Fruits comestibles. Ecorce tinctoriale utilisée pour teindre les tissus en brun jaunâtre.
