Symplocos racemosa Roxb.
Shrub or small tree, 6-10 m tall, of the dense or secondary formations of China, India and Indochina. Nice-smelling flowers looked by the bees. Edible fruits. Colouring bark, used to dye the fabrics in red. In traditional medicine, the decoction of the bark is used against the abdominal pains, the
diseases of the eyes and the ulcers.

ឈ្មោះចុល្លព្រឹក្សម្យ៉ាងកំពស់៦-១០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃក្រាស់ ឬព្រៃល្បោះ នៅប្រទេសចិន ឥណ្ឌា និងឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ ផ្កា លួតស៊ីផ្លែមានក្លិនក្រអូបណាស់ តែងឃើញសត្វឃ្មុំក្រេបជញ្ជក់ទាំងហ្វូងៗ ។ ផ្លែគេនិយមបរិភោគណាស់ ។ សំបកស្ងោរ សម្រាប់ជ្រលក់សំពត់ អោយពណ៌ក្រហម ។ គ្រូថ្នាំខ្មែរស្ងោរសំបកធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលរោគជាច្រើន ដូចជាឈឺពោះ, ឈឺភ្នែក និងលាងដំបៅរលួយ ។

Arbuste ou petit arbre, haut de 6-10 m, des formations denses ou secondaires de la Chine, de l’Inde et de l’Indochine. Fleurs odorantes recherchées par les abeilles. Fruits comestibles. Ecorce tinctoriale, utilisée pour teindre les tissus en rouge. En pharmacopée, la décoction de l’écorce s’emploie contre les douleurs abdominales, les maladies des yeux et les ulcères.
