Sophora tomentosa L.
Shrub, 2-4 m tall, whitish in all parts, met on sandy soil by the sea in Cambodia, Vietnam, India and the Philippines. Formerly in Cambodia, the seeds were mixed with opium, for the poor smokers, in a proportion up to 1/5. They would be also used against cholera and diarrhoea.

ចុល្លព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ២-៤ម មែកធាងពណ៌ប្រផេះ ដុះលើដីខ្សាច់មាត់សមុទ្រ នៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា វៀតណាម ឥណ្ឌា និង ហ្វីលីពីន ។ ពីជំនាន់ដើម គេប្រើគ្រាប់សំរាប់លាយជាមួយអាភៀន ដើម្បីលក់ថោកៗ ឱ្យពួកអ្នកក្រ ជក់ ។ គ្រាប់នេះ ក៏អាចប្រើធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលជំងឺអាសន្នរោគ និងរាគបាន ។

Arbuste, haut de 2-4 m, blanchâtre dans toutes ses parties, rencontré sur sol sableux au bord de la mer du Cambodge, du Viêt-nam, de l’Inde et des Philippines. Les graines étaient utilisées autrefois au Cambodge, pour être mélangées à l’opium, à l’usage des fumeurs pauvres, dans une proportion pouvant aller jusqu’au 1/5. Elles seraient également employées contre le choléra et la diarrhée.
