Scoparia dulcis L.
Herb, ligneous at bottom, 30-80 cm tall, imported from tropical America, become spontaneous along the roads of the warm regions. In traditional Cambodian medicine, the fresh plant is used to make a potion against cough; it is also part of a remedy against aerophagie. The decoction of roots is used against fever and the digestive troubles. Dried out, this hard herb is used to make brooms.

ឈ្មោះតិណជាតិ ភាពរឹងមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ៣០-៨០ស.ម ដើមកំណើតក្នុងប្រទេសអាមេរិកក្តៅ ដុះឯងៗតាមមាត់ផ្ទះនៃប្រទេសក្តៅសកលលោក។ គ្រូថ្នាំបុរាណប្រើដើមស្រស់សំរាប់ធ្វើថ្នាំក្អក ឬសគេស្ងោរធ្វើថ្នាំគ្រុន និងថ្នាំរំងាប់រោគគ្រឿង រំលាយអាហារ ។ គេហាលដើមអោយស្ងួត សំរាប់ធ្វើអំបោស ។

Herbe ligneuse à la base, haute de 30-80 cm, introduite de l’Amérique tropicale, devenue spontanée le long des chemins des régions chaudes. En pharmacopée cambodgienne, la plante fraîche sert à préparer une potion contre la toux ; elle entre aussi dans la composition d’un remède contre l’aérophagie. La décoction des racines est utilisée pour combattre la fièvre et les troubles digestifs. Desséchée, cette herbe dure sert à faire des balais.
