Plectocomia pierreana Becc.
Climbing palm tree, 10-30 m long, thorny, of the dense forests of Cambodia, met especially in Kampot and Kompong Chhnang provinces. The stalks are used to make ropes and in basketwork.

ឈ្មោះតាលជាតិមួយពួកប្រវែង១០-៣០ម មែកមានបន្លាវារតោងឈើក្នុងព្រៃធំ នៃប្រទេសខ្មែរ ច្រើនមានក្នុងខេត្តកំពត និងកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ។ មែក សម្រាប់ប្រើធ្វើជាខ្សែពួរនាវា និងកញ្ជើ ល្អី ទូ កៅអី ។ល។

Palmier grimpant, long de 10-30 m, épineux, des forêts denses du Cambodge, rencontré surtout dans les provinces de Kampot et de Kompong Chhnang. Les tiges servent à faire des cordages et en vannerie.
