Peltophorum pterocarpum (DC.) Backer ex K. Heyne
Tree, 10-25 m tall. probably imported, of the clear formations, coasts and back - mangrove of Southeast Asia and tropical Australia, cultivated in the warm regions of the world. It is a decorative tree of avenues, and a shade tree in the plantations. Colouring bark. Wood graded 1st category, in demand for the constructions.

Arbre, haut de 10-25 m, probablement introduit, des formations claires, des rivages marins et d’arrière- mangrove, de l’Asie du Sud-Est et de l’Australie tropicale, cultivé dans les régions chaudes du monde. C’est un arbre ornemental d’avenue et d’ombrage dans les plantations. Ecorce tinctoriale. Bois, classé « lère catégorie », recherché pour les constructions.
