Ochna integerrima (Lour.) Merr.
Shrub, 4-8 m tall, rarely more, of the secondary formations and undergrowth of Southeast Asia. The flowery branches are sold during the Chinese New Year, from January till March. The yellow flowers open easily when the cut branch is in the contact with tepid water. They are considered as a lucky charm. In traditional medicine the barks are used as tonic digestive.

ឈ្មោះចុល្លព្រឹក្សម្យ៉ាង កំពស់ ៤-៨ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះ និងគុម្ពោត នៃអាស៊ីផ្ទៃអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ មែកផ្កា តែងមានដាក់ លក់ក្នុងផ្សារ ពេលចូលឆ្នាំចិន ពីខែមករា ទៅដល់ខែមេសា ។ ផ្កាពណ៌លឿងតែងរីក ឆាប់រហ័សពេលគេដាក់មែកផ្កាក្នុងទឹកក្ដៅឧណ្ឌៗ។ ផ្កានេះគេទុកជាវត្ថុដែលឱ្យចម្រុងចម្រើន ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ ឬសអង្គាសីល ជាថ្នាំជួយរំលាយអាហារ ។

Arbuste, haut de 4-8 m, rarement plus, des formations secondaires et des fourrés du Sud-Est Asiatique. Les branches fleuries sont vendues lors du Nouvel An chinois, de janvier à mars. Les fleurs jaunes s’ouvrent facilement quand la branche coupée se trouve au contact de l’eau tiède. Elles sont considérées comme un porte-bonheur. En pharmacopée les écorces sont utilisées comme un tonique digestif.
