Nymphaea nouchali Burm.f.
Aquatic herb, with underground stem, sunk in the mud, carrying, as for the previous species, petioles and floral peduncles. Unlike "prâlit", the blue water lily has leaves with complete edges, little or not toothed. Originating from the Oriental and Southern Asia, the species is cultivated in the puddles of the tropical ans sub- temperate countries of the world. Blue flowers. Floral peduncles are edible.

លំចង់ ជាតិណជាតិ ដុះក្នុងទឹករាងដូចព្រលឹត ស្លឹកក៏អណ្តែតលើទឹកដូចគ្នា តែស្លឹកលំចង់គ្មានសណ្ឋានជាធ្មេញរណារ នៅជុំវិញឡើយ ។ ដើមកំណើតលំចង់នៅក្នុងទ្វីបអាស៊ីខាងកើត និងខាងត្បូង គេនាំទៅដាំគ្រប់ប្រទេសក្តៅ និងត្រជាក់មធ្យមសកលលោក ។ ផ្កាពណ៌ខៀវ ។ ទងផ្កាអាចបរិភោគជាបន្លែបាន ។

Herbe aquatique, à tige souterraine, enfoncée dans la vase, portant, comme pour l’espèce précédente, pétioles et pédoncules floraux. A la différence de « prâlit », le nénuphar bleu a des feuilles dont les bords sont entiers, peu ou pas dentés. Originaire de l’Asie orientale et méridionale, l’espèce est cultivée dans les mares des pays tropicaux et subtempérés du monde. Fleurs bleues. Pédoncules floraux comestibles.
