Nerium oleander L.
Shrub, 2-5 m tall, originating from Cape Verde, and cultivated as decorative in all the tropical and temperate countries of the world, for the pink, reddish or white flowers. All the parts of the plant are toxic, containing a poison for the heart. The roots are used as remedy against the infections of the skin.

Arbuste, haut de 2-5 m, originaire du Cap-vert, et cultivé comme ornemental dans tous les pays tropicaux et tempérés du monde, pour ses fleurs roses, rougeâtres ou blanches. Toutes les parties de la plante sont toxiques, car contenant un poison pour le cœur. Les racines sont utilisées comme remède contre les infections de la peau.
