MURRAYA (Rutaceae)
Murraya koenigii (L.) Spreng.
Shrub, 1-2 m tall, growing by bundles, in the sunny places, in the secondary formations and the undergrowth of Cambodia, Laos, India, Yunnan and Java, introduced into the other countries of Southeast Asia: often cultivated in the gardens. Leaves used as condiments to flavor some dishes, in particular "sâmlâ" (Cambodia) and the curry in India and Sri Lanka. In traditional medicine, the bark, the root and the leaves are considered as invigorating and tonic. The decoctions of leaves are given in bath to the children affected by scabies.

ចុល្លព្រឹក្សម្យ៉ាងកំពស់១-២ម ដុះជាគុម្ព លើដីវាលឬក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះ ឬព្រៃគុម្ពោតនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា លាវ ឥណ្ឌា ចិនខាងត្បូង, កោះយ៉ាវ៉ា (Java), គេនាំចូលក្នុងស្រុកឯទៀតៗនៅអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ពេលខ្លះគេដាំជាលំអក្នុងសួន ។ ស្លឹក ផ្លែមានក្លិនប្រហើរប្រើធ្វើគ្រឿងសម្ល នៅឥណ្ឌាគេប្រើសំរាប់ ដាក់ក្នុងការី ។ តាមគ្រូហ្មបុរាណ សំបក ឬស នឹងស្លឹក ជាថ្នាំលើកកំលាំង និងធ្វើអោយក្លៀវក្លាផង ។ គេដាំស្លឹកអោយក្មេងកើតជំងឺកមរមាស់ងូត ។

Arbuste, haut de 1-2 m, croissant par touffes, dans les endroits ensoleillés, dans les formations secondaires et les fourrés du Cambodge, du Laos, en Inde, à Yunnan, à Java, introduit dans les autres pays du Sud-Est Asiatique; souvent cultivé dans les jardins. Feuilles employées comme condimentaires pour aromatiser certains plats, en particulier les « sâmlâ » (Cambodge) et le curry en Inde et Sri Lanka. En pharmacopée, l’écorce, la racine, les feuilles sont considérées comme stimulantes et toniques. Les décoctions de feuilles sont données en bain aux enfants atteints de la gale.
