Mimusops elengi L.
Tree, 8-15 m tall, of Malay origin, cultivated everywhere in Southeast Asia as decorative for the very nice-smelling flowers of which festoons are made. Their essential oil is of use to the manufacture of perfume. Dark red wood that may be used in construction. In Cambodia, these flowers inspired a traditional song.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទកំពស់ ៨-១៥ម កំណើតក្ន ុងប្រទេសជា្វ គេដាំនៅអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ជាលំអ ។ ផ្កាពណ៌លឿង មានក្លិនក្រអូបឈ្ងុយឆ្ងាញ់គេនិយម ប្រើធ្វើជាកម្រង ។ ប្រេងចម្រាញ់ពីផ្កាអាចប្រើធ្វើជាទឹកអប់ ។ ឈើពណ៌ក្រហមក្រមៅ អាចប្រើសំរាប់សង់គ្រឿងផ្ទះរាយរងបាន ។ មានចំរៀងប្រជាប្រិយខ្មែរ មួយស្តីអំពីផ្កាព្កុល “ ផ្កាអើយផ្កាព្កុល គ្រាន់តែយល់ គួរអោយគួចចិត្តស្នេហ៍ ” ។ល។

Arbre, haut de 8-15 m, d’origine malaise, cultivé partout en Asie du Sud-Est comme ornemental pour ses fleurs très odorantes dont on fait des guirlandes. Leur huile essentielle sert à la fabrication du parfum. Bois rouge foncé pouvant être utilisé en construction. Au Cambodge, ces fleurs ont inspiré une chanson populaire.
