MICROCOS (Tiliaceae)
Microcos tomentosa Sm.
Shrub or small tree, 4-15 m tall, of the clear formations of Southeast Asia. The fruit is edible. The barks are used to make ropes. In traditional Khmer medicine, the decoction of roots is used against cough.

ចុល្លព្រឹក្ស ឬព្រឹក្សតូចមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ៤-១៥ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃស្រោង នៃអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ផ្លែតូចៗ សាច់ស្វិត រអិលៗ អាចបរិភោគបាន ។ សំបកសម្រាប់វេញធ្វើខ្សែពួរ ។ គេស្ងោរឬសធ្វើថ្នាំបុរាណ រម្ងាប់រោគក្អក ។

Arbuste ou petit arbre, haut de 4-15 m, des formations claires de l’Asie du Sud-Est. Le fruit est comestible. Les écorces servent à faire des cordages. En pharmacopée khmère, la décoction des racines est employée contre la toux.
