Mallotus philippinensis (Lam.) Müell. Arg.
Shrub or tree, 5-15 m tall, common in the clearings of the dense forests of Indochina and the Far East. The powder extracted from fruit is used to dye the fabrics in yellow. The dye prepared from the powder would expel tenia. In India, the bark and the leaves are used in poultices against the cutaneous diseases.

ព្រឹក្សតូច ឬចុល្លព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទកំពស់ ៥-១៥ម ដុះក្នុងទីវាលកណ្ដាលព្រៃក្រាស់នៃឥណ្ឌូចិន និងចុងបូព៌ាប្រទេស ។ ម្សៅដែលចំរាញ់ ពីផ្លែ សំរាប់ជ្រលក់សំពត់ ជាពណ៌លឿង ។ ថ្នាំជ្រលក់នេះគេអាចប្រើជាឱសថសំលាប់ព្រូនវែង ។ នៅប្រទេសឥណ្ឌា សំបក និងស្លឹក គេប្រើជាថ្នាំបំពោកលើរោគស្បែក ។

Arbuste ou arbre, haut de 5-15 m, commun dans les clairières des forêts denses de l’Indochine et de l’Extrême-Orient. La poudre extraite du fruit sert à teindre les tissus en jaune. La teinture préparée à partir de la poudre serait ténifuge. En Inde, l’écorce et les feuilles sont utilisées en cataplasmes contre les maladies cutanées.
