Tree or shrub, 3-12 m tall, of the clearings and edges of dense and semi-dense forests of Indochina, China and Malay Archipelago. Young leaves eaten as vegetables. Wood used in construction.

ទំពូង ឬ ប្លាន ជាចុល្លព្រឹក្ស ឬព្រឹក្សតូចកំពស់ ៣-១២ម ដុះតាមដងព្រៃក្នុងឧបទ្វីបជ្វា ឥណ្ឌូចិន និងប្រទេសចិន ។
ស្លឹកខ្ចីៗគេធ្វើបន្លែ ឈើអាចប្រើធ្វើគ្រឿងផ្ទះបាន ។

Arbre ou arbuste, haut de 3-12 m, des clairières et de lisières de forêts denses et semi-denses de l’Indochine, de Chine et de l’Archipel malais. Jeunes feuilles mangées en légumes. Bois employé en construction.
