MACLURA (Moraceae)
Maclura cochinchinensis (Lour.) Corner
Climbing shrub with thorny twigs of the secondary formations and flooded forests of Indochina. Leaves and roots used in traditional medicine. The crushed fresh leaves are applied to the wounds to hasten their cure. The decoction of roots would be effective against the oedemas and rheumatisms. Wood used to dye the silk.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ មានបន្លាច្រើនវារឡើងលើដើមជិតខាងក្នុងព្រៃរនាមឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ ស្លឹក និងឬសជាឱសថ ស្លឹកអាចបុកបំពោកលើដំបៅឱ្យឆាប់ជា ឯឬសគេស្ងោរផឹកដើម្បីរំងាប់រោគហើម និងសន្លាក់ឆ្អឹង ។ ខ្លឹមឈើអាចស្ងោរជ្រលក់សូត្រ។

Arbuste grimpant aux rameaux épineux des formations secondaires et des forêts inondées de l’Indochine. Feuilles et racines utilisées en pharmacopée. Les feuilles fraîches pilées sont appliquées sur les plaies pour hâter leur guérison. La décoction des racines serait efficace contre les œdèmes et les rhumatismes. Aubier du bois utilisé pour teindre la soie.
