LIMNOPHILA (Scrophulariaceae)
Limnophila geoffrayi Bonati
Annual. 10-30 cm tall herb. of the wet meadows and paddy fields of Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. The aromatic stalks and leaves are used to scent some dishes, such as "sâmlâ:". They are used either fresh or dry.

ម្អម ជាតិណជាតិប្រចាំឆ្នាំ កំពស់ ១០ - ៣០ស.ម ដុះលើដីសើម ឬក្នុងទឹករាក់ៗ ក្នុងស្រែនៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា លាវ វៀតណាម និង ថៃ ។ មែក និងស្លឹក មានក្លិនហាងឆួលលាយក្រអូបបន្តិចៗ ផ្កាសម្បុរស្វាយ ប្រើជាគ្រឿងបង់សម្លម្ជូរ ប្រើបានទាំងស្រស់ ទាំងក្រៀម ។

Herbe annuelle, haute de 10-30 cm, des prairies humides et des rizières du Cambodge, du Laos, du Viêt-nam et de la Thaïlande. Les tiges et les feuilles, aromatiques, sont employées pour parfumer certains mets. tels que le « sâmlâ: ». On les utilise soit à l’état frais, soit à l’état sec.
