LEPISANTHES (Sapindaceae)
Lepisanthes rubiginosa (Roxb). Leenh.
Shrub, 1-3 m of the secondary tropical formations of Asia and Australia. Edible fruits, eaten especially by the children. Wood used to make tools handles and ploughing implements and also as firewood. The young eaten buds would calm the sleeplessness The decoction of roots would be febrifuge. The roots are a component of a remedy against dysentery and uterine diseases.

ជន្លូស ជាចុល្លព្រឹក្សកំពស់ ១-៣ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះនៃទ្វីបអាស៊ី និងអូស្ត្រាលីផ្នែកក្ដៅ ។ ផ្លែអាចបរិភោគបាន តែច្រើនតែពួកក្មេងៗទេ ដែលស៊ីវា ។ ឈើគេប្រើសំរាប់ធ្វើដងកាំបិត ពូថៅ ។ល។ និងធ្វើប្រដាប់សំរាប់កសិកម្ម ។ មែក ធាង តូចៗ អាចធ្វើអុសដុត ។ ក្នុងក្បួនឱសថបុរាណខ្មែរ គេស៊ីត្រួយខ្ចីៗដើម្បីអោយដេកលក់ស្រួល ។ ឬសគេស្ងោរផឹករំងាប់ជំងឺគ្រុន ។ គ្រូថ្នាំបុរាណប្រើឫសផ្សំជាមួយរុក្ខជាតិដទៃទៀត ធ្វើជាថ្នាំព្យាបាល រាគ មួល និងជំងឺស្បូន ។

Arbuste, haut de 1-3 m. des formations secondaires de l’Asie et de l’Australie tropicales. Fruits comestibles, consommés surtout par les enfants. Bois utilisé pour fabriquer des manches d’outils et des instruments aratoires et également comme bois de feu. Les jeunes bourgeons mangés calmeraient les insomnies. La décoction des racines serait fébrifuge. Les racines entrent dans la composition d’un remède contre la dysenterie et des maladies utérines.
