LAGERSTROEMIA (Lythraceae)
Lagertroemia speciosa (L.) Pers.
Small tree. 8-15 m tall, of the secondary formations of Asia and tropical Australia. Often cultivated, as decorative, along avenues. The infusions of the bark would be effective against diarrhoeas. The leaves and the ripe fruits contain a principle similar to the insulin, which would have given good results in the treatment of the diabetes.

ឈ្មោះឈើតូចមួ យប្រភេទកំពស់ ៨-១៥ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះនៃទ្វីបអាស៊ី និងអូស្ត្រាលីផ្នែកក្ដៅ ។ គេនិយមដាំជា លំអតាមវិថីនានា ។ តាមក្បួនឱសថបុរាណ សំបកសំរាប់ស្ងោរផឹកព្យាបាលជំងឺរាគ ។ ស្លឹក និងផ្លែទុំមានជាតិម្យ៉ាងដូច Insuline ដែលគេប្រើសំរាប់ព្យាបាលជំងឺទឹកនោមផ្អែម ។

Petit arbre, haut de 8-15 m, des formations secondaires de l’Asie et de l’Australie tropicale. Souvent cultivé, comme ornemental, le long des avenues. Les infusions de l’écorce seraient efficaces contre les diarrhées. Les feuilles et les fruits mûrs contiennent un principe semblable à l’insuline et qui aurait donné de bons résultats dans le traitement du diabète.
