Shrub, 1-5 m tall, originating from East Africa, cultivated as decorative in all the tropical and temperate regions. Probably a natural hybrid species, with deeply laciniés*** petals.

Arbrisseau ou arbuste, haut de 1-5 m, originaire de l’Afrique orientale, cultivé comme ornemental dans toutes les régions tropicales et tempérées. Espèce sans doute hybride naturelle, à pétales profondément laciniés.
