Gomphia serrata (Gaertn.) Kanis
Shrub, 2-8 m tall, of the open formations near the rivers of Southeast Asia. Red or brown red wood, splitted easily, used for small constructions or as firewood. The blackish sap obtained by section over fire is considered as being able to cure inflammations of the gums and calm the dental furies. In Vietnam, stalks were formerly used for darkening the teeth.

ឈ្មោះចុល្លព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ២-៨ម ដុះលើទីវាលជិតមាត់ទឹក នៃទ្វីបអាស៊ី ផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ឈើមានសម្បុរ ក្រហម ឬក្រហមព្រឿងៗ ឆាប់ប្រេះឆា សម្រាប់ប្រើសង់រោង ឬធ្វើអុសដុត ។ ជ័រមានពណ៌ខ្មៅ គេអាចត្រងយកបានក្រោយ គេកាត់ដើមហើយដុតភ្លើង ។ គ្រូថ្នាំប្រើជ័រនេះជាថ្នាំព្យាបាល ជម្ងឺរលាកជើងធ្មេញ និងបន្ធូរការឈឺធ្មេញ ។ នៅប្រទេសវៀត-ណាម ពីមុនជ័រនេះសម្រាប់លាបធ្មេញឱ្យខ្មៅ ។

Arbuste, haut de 2-8 m, des formations ouvertes près des cours d’eau de l’Asie du Sud-Est. Bois rouge ou rouge brun, se fendant facilement, utilisé pour de petites constructions ou comme bois de feu. La sève noirâtre obtenue par incision sur le feu est considérée comme pouvant guérir les gingivites et calmer les rages dentaires. Au Viêt-nam, les tiges servaient autrefois à noircir les dents.
