Gluta laccifera (Pierre) Ding Hou
Tree, 25-30 m tall, of the clear forests of the Indochinese Peninsula. The trunk and the branches produce a lacquer that can be extracted, by section of the bark, to varnish the objects of basketwork and make them waterproof. The wood. very resistant, is in demand to make the pillars of house and for luxury cabinetwork. The barks would be astringent.

ដើមគ្រើល (ដើមរស់) ឬម្រ័ក្សណ៍ (ដើមកាប់ហើយ) ជាព្រឹក្សធំកំពស់ ២៥-៣០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃស្រោង នៃឧបទ្វីបឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ មែក និងដើម មានជ័រម្យ៉ាង ដែលគេអាចយកចេញដោយកាត់ នឹងកាំបិត ឬដុត ។ ជ័រឬម្រ័ក្សណ៍នេះសម្រាប់ លាបវត្ថុផ្សេងៗ ដូចជាកញ្ជើ ល្អី ។ល។ ដើម្បីធ្វើមិនឱ្យជ្រាបទឹក ។ ឈើជាប់ល្អ មានតម្លៃ គេប្រើធ្វើសរសផ្ទះ តុ ទូ ល្អប្រណិត ។ សំបកគ្រើល សម្រាប់ធ្វើថ្នាំទប់ ឬឃាត់មិនឱ្យរាគជាដើម ។

Arbre, haut de 25-30 m, des forêts claires de la péninsule indochinoise. Le tronc et les branches secrètent une laque qu’on peut extraire, par incision de l’écorce, pour vernir les objets de vannerie et les rendre imperméables. Le bois, très résistant, est recherché pour faire les colonnes de maison et pour l’ébénisterie de luxe. Les écorces seraient astringentes.
