Gleditsia australis Hemsl. ex Forbes & Hems.
Thorny tree, 5-10 m tall, originating from China (Hainan, Hong-Kong), introduced in Indochina where it is cultivated. Medicinal plant: The pulp of the fruit would be a remedy against the nasal diseases. The barks and the leaves are used to treat the cutaneous diseases. The seeds would be emetic and purgative; they are used also as an antidote.

ម៉ាន់ខេតជាព្រឹក្សមានបន្លា កំពស់ ៥-១០ម យើងយកពីបរទេស (ចិន ហៃណាំ ហុងកុង) មកដាំក្នុងឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ ជាដើមឱសថ សាច់ផ្លែសម្រាប់ធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលជម្ងឺច្រមុះ ។ ស្លឹកនិងសំបក សម្រាប់ធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលជម្ងឺស្បែក ។ គ្រាប់ជាថ្នាំធ្វើឱ្យក្អួត (ពេលពុលចំណី) និងបញ្ចុះ គេប្រើគ្រាប់ជាថ្នាំបន្សាបពិសក៏បាន ។

Arbre épineux, haut de 5-10 m, originaire de Chine (Hainan, Hongkong) introduit en Indochine où il est cultivé. Plante médicinale : La pulpe du fruit serait un remède contre les affections nasales. Les écorces et les feuilles sont utilisées pour soigner les maladies de la peau. Les graines seraient émétiques, purgatives ; on les emploie aussi comme un contrepoison.
