Small tree, 7-20 m tall, of the dense coastal forests, widely distributed in China, India, Indochina and the Malay archipelago. Wood used in constructions.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ពី ៧ទៅ២០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃទួលធំមាត់សមុទ្រក្នុងប្រទេសជាច្រើន នៃអាស៊ីក្ដៅ ។ នៅស្រុកខ្មែរ គេប្រើដើមក្រសាំងភ្នំ ធ្វើគ្រឿងផ្ទះ ។
