GARUGA (Burseraceae)
Garuga pinnata Roxb.
Tree, 20-35 m tall, of the dense forests of Southeast Asia. The leaves are used as fodder. The wood, grey- brown or yellowish, preserving badly when exposed, is used to make the skeleton and for heating. It makes also big drums. Edible fruits, although a bit acid.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សធំម្យ៉ាងកំពស់ ២០-៣៥ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃជ្រៅនៃទ្វីបអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ស្លឹកខ្ចីៗសម្រាប់ឱ្យសត្វពាហនៈស៊ី ។ ឈើសម្បុរប្រផេះក្រមៅ ឬ លឿងភាវ អាចខូចបើនៅហាលភ្លៀងខ្យល់ គេប្រើធ្វើគ្រឿងដំបូលផ្ទះ និង ដុតកំដៅ ។ គេអាច ប្រើធ្វើតួស្គរក៏បានដែរ ។ ផ្លែបរិភោគជាចំណីថ្មីបើមានជូរបន្តិច ។

Arbre, haut de 20-35 m, des forêts denses de l’Asie du Sud-Est. Les feuilles servent de fourrage. Le bois, gris brun ou jaunâtre, se conservant mal à l’air, est utilisé pour faire la charpente et le chauffage. On en fait aussi le corps des gros tambours. Fruits comestibles, quoique un peu acides.
