Ficus religiosa L.
Tree, 10-25 m tall, of Indian origin, cultivated in the whole Southeast Asia. In Cambodia, it is planted especially in the pagodae and near the markets. The barks can replace areca nut in betel quid. The juice of leaves would be laxative.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្ស កំពស់ ១០ - ២៥ម នាំពីប្រទេសឥណ្ឌាមកដាំជាលំអ ក្នុងទ្វីបអាស៊ីផ្ នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ នៅស្រុកខ្មែរ គេនិយមដាំពោធិ៍ក្នុងទីវត្ត និងជិតផ្សារ ។ សំបកអាចជំនួសស្លាបាន សម្រាប់ស៊ីម្លូ ។ ជ័រពោធិ៍ជាថ្នាំបញ្ចុះ ។

Arbre, haut de 10-25 m, d’origine indienne, cultivé dans tout le Sud-Est Asiatique. Au Cambodge, on le plante surtout dans les pagodes et près des marchés. Les écorces peuvent remplacer la noix d’arec dans la chique du bétel. Le suc des feuilles serait laxatif.
