DIOSPYROS (Ebenaceae)
Diospyros pilosanthera Blanco, var. helferi (C.B. Clarke) Bakh.
Tree, 10-20 m tall, of dense and semi-dense forests of the Indochinese Peninsula and Malay Archipelago. Species with a coal black tortuous trunk, easily associated with termitariums. Wood much appreciated in cabinetwork. The barks are a component of a remedy against ovarian diseases.

ត្រយឹងជាព្រឹក្សកំពស់ ១០-២០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃក្រាស់ ឬក្រាស់មធ្យមនៅឧបទ្វីបឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ ដើមពណ៌ខ្មៅដូចធ្យូង ច្រើនដុះវៀច គឺមិនត្រង់ទៅលើ ច្រើនដុះលើដំបូក ។ ឈើត្រយឹងមានតម្លៃណាស់ សម្រាប់ធ្វើវត្ថុលំអ ។ គ្រូថ្នាំខ្មែរប្រើសំបក ត្រយឹងផ្សំធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលជម្ងឺស្បូន ។

Arbre, haut de 10-20 m, des forêts denses et semi-denses de la péninsule indochinoise et de l’Archipel malais. Espèce au tronc noir charbon, tortueux, affectionnant les termitières. Bois très apprécié en ébénisterie. Les écorces entrent dans la composition d’un remède contre les maladies ovariennes.
