Diospyros bejaudi Lecomte
Tree, 10-20 m tall, of dense and semi-dense forests of Cambodia from where it is endemic, The white wood, black pigmented in the centre, supplies ebony in weak proportions. It is much in demand for the manufacture of furniture, handles of knives and often musical instruments.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ១០-២០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃធ ំ ឬព្រៃក្រាស់មធ្យម នៅប្រទេសខ្មែរតែមួយទេ គឺគ្មាននៅ ប្រទេសដទៃឡើយ ។ ដើមពណ៌ស លាយខ្មៅបន្តិចៗ ចំកណ្ដាលអាចទៅជាឈើរឹងខ្មៅស្រិល (Ebène) ខ្លះៗ បាន កាលណាដើមចាស់ ។ ឈើខ្មៅស្រិលនេះ គេនិយមប្រើសម្រាប់ធ្វើ តុ ទូ ដងកាំបិត ពេលខ្លះធ្វើគ្រឿងភ្លេង ។

Arbre, haut de 10-20 m, des forêts denses et semi-denses du Cambodge dont il est endémique, Le bois blanc, se pigmentant de noir au centre, fournit de l’ébène en faibles proportions. Il est très recherché pour la fabrication de meubles, de manches de couteaux et souvent des instruments de musique.
