Dioscorea alata L.
Lengthily climbing plant, cultivated in all tropical regions of the world for its voluminous tubers which constitute a nourishing food. They are particularly recommended to the patients suffering lungs diseases. They would have also healing virtues in loins and spleen’s troubles.

Plante longuement grimpante, cultivée dans toutes les régions tropicales du monde pour ses tubercules volumineux qui constituent un aliment nourrissant. Ils sont particulièrement recommandés aux malades des poumons. Ils auraient aussi des vertus curatives dans les affections des reins et de la rate.
