Cymbopogon nardus (L.) Rendle
Perennial herb, 0.8-1.50 m tall, cultivated in almost all the Cambodian cooking gardens, for the leaves and stubbles used as condiments. About 40% of Cambodian dishes are flavored by this plant. Species native in Asia and introduced into all the tropical regions.
