Cymbidium aloifolium Sw.
Epiphyte or ground orchid of tropical Asia. In Cambodia, this species grows on the trunk of the sugar palm trees, in plains. Plant in demand for indoor cultivation, for the beauty of the flowers grouped in, very long clusters (1-2 m); flowers brown red with yellow edges and reddish lapel. In traditional medicine, the decoction of this orchid is used to wash the sick children.

ឈោ្មះ បិនសិផា (Orchidée) មួយប្រភេទ ដុះលើដី ឬផ្ញើប្រាណនៃអាស៊ីក្តៅ ។ នៅប្រទេសខ្មែរ បិនសិផា នេះច្រើន ផ្ញើប្រាណលើគល់ត្នោត លើដីទំនាប ។ គេនិយមយកដើមនេះមកដាំក្នុងផ្ទះជាលំអ ដោយមានផ្កាជាចង្កោមវែងៗ ១-២ម ផ្កាពណ៌ក្រហមក្រមៅ មានគែមលឿង និងភាគបកចេញក្រៅ ក្រហមភាវ ។ គ្រូបុរាណយកទឹកស្ងោរបិនសិផានេះ ឱ្យក្មេងស្គមស្គាំងងូត អោយមានកម្លាំងឆាប់ធំធាត់ ។

Orchidée épiphyte ou terrestre de l’Asie tropicale. Au Cambodge, cette espèce pousse sur le tronc des palmiers à sucre, en plaine. Plante recherchée pour la culture en appartement pour la beauté de ses fleurs groupées en grappes très longues, 1-2 m ; fleurs rouge brun à bords jaunes et revers rougeâtre. En pharmacopée, la décoction de cette orchidée sert à laver les enfants malingres.
