CRUDIA (Leguminosae-Caesalpinioideae)
Crudia chrysantha (Pierre) Schum.
Tree, 8-25 m tall, spread in flooded forests and at riversides, met in the Indochinese Peninsula. The wood, dark brown on dry parts, possibly nice polished, is in demand in luxury cabinetwork, but in Cambodia, the tree is little exploited because it has the reputation to bring misfortune.

ស្ដីទឹកជាព្រឹក្សមានកំពស់ ៨ទៅ២ ៥ម ដុះមួយៗក្នុងព្រៃរនាម ប្រទេសខ្មែរ ឬតាមមាត់ទឹក នៅប្រទេសដទៃ ឥណ្ឌូចិន ។ ខ្លឹមឈើស្ងួតពណ៌ក្រមៅ គេអាចខាត់អោយឡើងរលោងបាន ឈើនេះជាឈើប្រណិតសម្រាប់ធ្វើ តុ ទូ តែខ្មែរខ្លះមិននិយមប្រើឈើស្តីទឹកទេ ដោយគេជឿថាជាឈើចង្រៃ ។

Arbre, haut de 8-25 m, disséminé en forêts inondées et au bord des cours d’eau, rencontré dans la péninsule indochinoise. Le bois, brun foncé sur le sec, susceptible d’un beau poli, est recherché en ébénisterie de luxe mais au Cambodge, cet arbre est peu exploité car il a la réputation de porter malheur.
