Crotalaria quinquefolia L.
Shrub, 2-4 m tall, of uncultivated fields, paddy fields, swampy places, or under clear forest up to 300 m; species of the Indochinese Peninsula, the Philippines and New Guinea. The flowers are edible. The fruits, cylindrical, compressed, 5-6 x 1-2 cms, are used in traditional medicine to cure the bites of scolopendrids and snakes.
